magnetic poetry

So I ended up at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, looking for a couple of books. Ended up making an impulsive purchase of magnetic poetry words for the refrigerator. I have thought of buying them before, but my better judgement usually wins out. Nearly bought the Erotic set, but then I thought, what's the point of working myself up for nothing. Instead, I got the standard.

So I sat down on the kitchen floor and tore the little pieces apart and then tried to compose my first poem. Huh. I like the placement of them near to the ground on the refrigerator, so that I have to sit on the hard floor. It yields a different perspective.

And here is the first poem:

tell me of your rust ing dream s
in a language d void of life

chant to me a symphony of lie s
in the wax ing moon light

whisper to the scream ing wind
of what you frantic ly want

manipulate me with a bitter tongue
but sing as if you are not.
